Monday - Friday 7.00am - 5.00pm

Saturday (2 in every am pm


The Role:


Applicant must have 5+ years' experience working in an independent Builders Merchants'.
Our client is looking to recruit a Branch Manager to head up their team at Watford.

This is an excellent opportunity to use all your acquired skills to further enhance the excellent business of their branch.

You'll play a key part in establishing a trusted relationship and building the sales capability whilst achieving business objectives. You will have an influential role working with colleagues and supporting their capability at all levels.


You must have previous experience working for a building merchants' supplier, with a strong knowledge of product and facilitating the customer's needs.

With a keen eye for figures, you will have strong experience on making sure sales targets are achieved,as well as managing a core team where your interpersonal skills will come into play.


Skills Required:


  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Previous experience at a BM or ABM level handling a builders merchants'.
  • Understand the core levels of sales and marketing.
  • Need to motivate and support a team from various areas in the branch.
  • Levelheaded at all times and a problem solver.
  • Solid knowledge about the products.
  • Be confident and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Have great influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Be resilient through peaks of pressure and used to working to tight deadlines.
  • Have extensive similar experience in previous companies.
