- Lead and manage the architectural design team, ensuring high standards of design and technical delivery.
- Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from initial concept through to completion.
- Work closely with in-house town planners and landscape architects to integrate planning and landscape considerations into architectural designs.
- Ensure all projects comply with UK building regulations and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Provide strong technical knowledge, particularly at the detailing stage.
- Engage in high-end residential design, ensuring creativity and excellence in all aspects of work.
- ARB accreditation and membership.
- Proven excellence in high-end residential design.
- Extensive new build experience.
- Strong technical knowledge.
- Excellent knowledge of UK building regulations.
- Proficient in 3D drawing software.
- Experience managing teams and delivering residential projects in the UK.
- Full driving licence and use of a vehicle.
- ArchiCAD.
- Experience with AutoCAD, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

Our client is a leading architecture and planning practice in Truro, Cornwall, specialising in bespoke residential and commercial projects.They are currently seeking an experienced Associate Architect/Design Director with at least ten years post-Part 3 experience to lead their dynamic design team, composed of architects, architectural technologists, technicians, town planners, and landscape architects.
The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, creative flair, and the ability to manage projects from concept to completion, with responsibility for delivery.
