- Own adhoc reporting although the stock accountant will do most of the reporting, the MA will decipher reports and explain variances.
- Answer questions from senior stakeholders in MD's absence
- You will have one direct report
- Ensuring PO data is maintained in the system to ensure it is accurate and up to date
- Support other members of the department as appropriate
- Ensuring accuracy of adhoc reporting
- Assist in preparation of management accounts
- Ensuring all parts of the ERP system are correct and updating all automated and manual reports on here Accruals, rebates etc
- Assist in production of quarterly sales forecast
- Assist in preparation of annual budgets
- Assist in resolution of internal queries and controls
- Review and re-code general ledger postings where appropriate
- Part qualified - ideally CIMA or ACCA
- Strong excel skills
- Previous experience of managing a finance database or stock system/database
- Be analytical and meticulous by nature
- Good communication skills
- Power BI is desirable but not essential
- The ability to easily understand systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and fix issues as they arise
- Reporting experience within management accounts
