Research Manager
We are recruiting for a Research and Engagement Manager for our well-established client.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure the development and planning of research to understand the needs across a diverse range of sectors.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Deliver research and engagement activities in line with deadlines and the program of work, and ensure they are of high quality
  • Integrate internal research and insight with other sources of intelligence to provide a comprehensive picture of priorities
  • Deliver evidencebased reports that drive engagement activity and decisionmaking, and share them with internal and external stakeholders
  • Effectively communicate and promote research outputs to build recognition and drive engagement with stakeholders
  • Embed robust qualitative and quantitative research, intelligence gathering, and analysis within the organization
  • Deliver and support others across the business to analyse and explain engagement findings
  • Work with the Head of Careers to understand research needs and develop engagement activities
  • Contribute to an effective media and social media strategy to maximize the impact, influence, and reach of the brand
  • Assist in the design and development of internal systems for effective monitoring of work and KPIfocused impact reports

Knowledge/Skills Required:


  • Good understanding of the role of research in engaging stakeholders and developing policy
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to convey complex information in a straightforward and accessible format
  • Knowledge of research methodology and data analysis
  • Confidence to take the initiative and identify key issues, develop creative solutions, and successfully promote them to stakeholders
  • Resourceful, highly motivated, and able to work calmly under pressure

Desirable:


  • Understanding of public procurement processes
  • Knowledge of the UK skills system, including vocation and technical qualifications
  • Experience of working with print/broadcast/social media, including developing strategies
This is a brand-new position working for an established business in Stoneleigh. Due to location, you must be able to drive. This is an office role with the opportunity to work flexible from home 2-3 days per week.
