    Job Description

    Gleeson Recruitment Group are pleased to be working with a leading brand in health and well being (ecommerce) to recruit for a Head of Creative.

    This is an extremely exciting role and business to be a part of and we are looking for the best on the market to help deliver a category leading brand.

    Job title: Head of Creative

    Location: Birmingham – 2 days office based

    Salary: £50,000-£65,000

    Contract: Full time, permanent

    Start date: April – July 2024

    The role:

    In this role you will lead a senior team to develop and deliver the businesses over all creative strategy. You will be hands on in delivering a strategy developed by senior business leaders and add your creative flare to all elements of the brand to deliver a category leading brand.

    Key requirements:

    • Lead the creative team to come up with creative and innovative ideas in line with the brand and make a real impact.
    • Make sure the brand's style stays consistent across all aspects of branding, especially online.
    • Support the creative and design team do their best work, giving them feedback and tips.
    • Work with other teams to brainstorm and make sure the brand reaches its goals.
    • Keep an eye on what's hot online (like Meta, Google, and TikTok) and lead on out how to tell the businesses story there.
    • Make the creative process smoother and more efficient so that campaigns are delivered on time and in budget.
    • Work closely with outside partners to make sure projects run smoothly.
    • Work with external stakeholders and report on findings and campaigns
    • Keep the team motivated and growing by setting clear goals and helping them learn and develop
    • Encourage the team to think big and push the limits of what they can do creatively

    Candidate criteria:

    • Strong creative background and flare/vision
    • Excellent proven experience in a similar role at a similar level
    • Experience leading a creative team
    • Previous experience in Adobe Suite and other design software
    • Strong communication skills and strong personality with the ability to roll your sleeves up and deliver
    • Previous experience in managing budgets
    • Proven track record of delivering brand measurement uplift
    • Experience working within a fast-paced, retail environment
