    Senior Site / Setting out Engineer

    Are you interested in joining a respected Construction Main Contractor in the Southwest on a contract basis?

    We are looking for a Degree-qualified Senior Site / Setting out Engineer to work on prestigious high-end projects across Devon.

    Our company collaborates with major construction contractors on various projects such as housing developments, schools, hospitals, refurbishments, and luxury residential builds.

    Due to our reputation for successfully delivering complex projects, we have an immediate opening for a Site / Setting out Engineer to work on a live project in Exeter for approximately 12 weeks.

    The main focus of this role is to provide engineering expertise to drive the construction project forward.

    Specifically, the project involves converting an old school into luxury accommodation, so we need an engineer who excels at problem-solving, especially when it comes to utility and drainage networks.

    Experience in Setting out / Site Engineering is crucial, with proficiency in using GPS and Robotic Total Station.

    Responsibilities will include working with site plans, drawings, and building information models, resolving technical issues, and coordinating with designers and engineers to ensure the accuracy of plans and drawings.

    Requirements for the role:

    • Minimum of 5 years' experience in setting out within housing, construction, or civil engineering.
    • Degree or HNC/D level qualification in Civil Engineering or Construction.
    • Ability to generate setting out data using various formats, including AutoCAD.

    This is a contract position starting within the next 2 weeks, with a commitment to completing the project within 9-12 weeks, and the potential for extension or transition to another project.
