    Project Manager
    London

    As a Barclays Project Manager, it will be your accountability to ensure that the overall objectives of mandatory, regulatory and control is achieved. You will achieve this through ensuring that all governance and business cases are prepared accordingly as well as providing oversight of all project related topics such as resource requirements, financial controls and RAID logs. You will also partner with senior stakeholders using effective communication and provide maintenance to those relationships.

    What will you be doing?


    • Ensuring business readiness plans are in place as well as financial plans

    • Reporting on governance across senior programme forums and workshops

    • Ensuring outcomes are delivered to scope and benefits management throughout lifecycle

    • Completing requirements management and solutions development, whether tech or other (e.g. Operations)

    • Providing oversight with regards to regular project reviews as well as timely risk and issue management

    • Conducting stakeholder and communications management

    • Providing technical expertise to support projects where needed, including knowledge of the lifecycle of one or more Asset Classes in Investment Banking

    What we're looking for:

    • Comprehensive knowledge of the front to back trade lifecycle within an Investment Bank

    • The ability to comprehend, interpret and adapt project or programme approach to suit the business context and subject matter of a change initiative

    • Investment Banking / Markets / Regulatory experience

    • Excellent project management skills

    Skills that will help you in the role:

    • Experience of working in major regulations and leading those implementations

    • Excellent understanding of IB Products and prior experience of delivering regulatory projects

    Where will you be working?

    In the heart of Canary Wharf, our headquarters at Churchill Place boasts onsite amenities such as: a gym, staff restaurant and deli bar, and is easily accessible by tube and bus links. With a population of around 5000 staff the atmosphere is second to none with a real buzz being created around the offices within.
