We are currently looking to recruit a Customer Services Co-ordinator to join our award-winning business, in Rochdale.
Our Rochdale site specialises in the development, manufacture and sale of agricultural, industrial, and food processing biocidal hygiene products, including cleaners and disinfectants.
Reporting to the Head of Customer Service, this role is office-based role and involves processing sales orders, arranging transport, completing shipping and export documentation for UK and European customers.
Neogen specialises in solutions for animal and food safety offering a diverse range of products and services for the agriculture, food, and beverage industries.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Processing of UK, European & Export Orders, and support of those customers throughout the sales process.
- Preparation of documentation, bill of lading and commercial invoices.
- Keeping customers up to date on their orders or delays.
- Liaison with Operations & Despatch Teams.
- Arranging collection and shipment of orders.
- The processing of proforma invoices and Letters of credit transactions.
- Liaise with Accounts department to assist in resolving issues when customer accounts are placed on hold.
- Ensuring CRM database is updated and maintained with correct data for companies and contacts, including special pricing certification and GDPR.
- Report and log any nonconformance or transit damages, entering customer complaints in Qpulse.
- Provide desk cover for customer service team including telephonist and reception.
- Effective communication and service to Territory Managers.
- To deal with all customer queries in a timely and efficient manner, providing a high standard of customer service.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Previous data entry / office administration experience.
- Experience with Sage, Sap or similar CRM database.
- Strives to deliver the highest level of service to the customer.
- Experience within a logistics or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential.
- High attention to detail and works effectively in a timely manner.
- Previous customer service experience is desirable.
