Key Responsibilities:

Provide oneonone or small group tuition to students with SEN, including but not limited to Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, dyslexia, dyspraxia, SEMH and other learning difficulties.
Develop and implement personalized learning plans tailored to the specific needs and abilities of each student.
Create engaging and interactive teaching materials and activities that cater to diverse learning styles.
Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students feel valued, respected, and motivated to succeed.
Monitor student progress and assess learning outcomes regularly, adjusting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure academic growth.
Collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals involved in the student's education to provide holistic support and promote continuity of learning.
Stay informed about best practices in SEN education and participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
Proven experience working with students with SEN, preferably in a tutoring or teaching capacity.
Strong understanding of different SEN conditions and their impact on learning and development.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational needs of students with SEN.
Flexibility and adaptability to meet the individual needs of each student and respond to changing circumstances.
