What does it take to be a 1:1 Teaching Assistant?
- Passion for education
- Patience and understanding
- No formal educational qualifications necessary however exeperience of SEN needs is essential.
- Enhanced DBS Certificate available on the Update service (Teaching Personnel can assist)
Job role:
- Working with one child in year 4 on a 1:1 basis.
- Reading or explaining tasks to the child, understanding, and supporting their needs and keeping them focused on their tasks.
- Manage challenging behaviours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
