Description

Our client is a leading specialist engineering business, who as a result of a significant increase in sales, are looking to appoint an experienced draughtsperson to their team.


Reporting to the Design Manager your role shall be varied, but essentially involve supporting the design team in the provision of both 2D & 3D complex engineering drawings for the manufacturing process.

You shall work closely with the engineering team andthe customer from the initial brief, through manufacture/assembly, until the final installation and commission.

It is expected that you shall possess the following skills Expert knowledge in CAD systems, ideally the Tube and Pipe section of the Inventor package

  • At least 3 years in a similar draughtsperson role, ideally in an engineering manufacturing/production firm (a working knowledge of hydraulics would be a distinct advantage).
  • Be capable of updating & maintaining the firm standard parts library
  • Produce Bills of Materials


It is expected that you shall have previous design experience, have strong AutoCAD 2D and Inventor skills, have worked in an engineering business, and be at least HNC/HND qualified.
