    Job summary

    Here at the RUH, we are very proud of our Theatre Department. It is going through a period of modernisation, with exciting new technologies and a refurbishment that will set us up for the future. We are a diverse, highly motivated department which covers an array of specialties and provides the best possible care for our patients. We believe in the 'Gold' standard and nothing else will do.     We are looking for a Scrub Practitioner with an interest in ENT and Maxillo-Facial surgeries. Experience within Theatres would be great, however, training can be offered to those with a positive attitude to learning and a 'can do' approach.

    Our Team is eager to meet you and would love for you to join our friendly, supportive, fun, professional department.

    Main duties of the job

    Carry out scrub duties according to policies and procedures, contributing to quality improvement, and promoting best evidence based practice.

  • State Registered with Nursing & Midwifery Council or HCPC

  • Able to demonstrate effective consolidation of nursing knowledge& practice after qualification & preceptorship

  • Experience of taking charge of a ward and delegating responsibilities
