    Job Title: Advanced Clinical Practitioner at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

    About the Job:

    We are looking for registered healthcare professionals to join the Urology non-surgical oncology team as an Advanced Clinical Practitioner. This is an exciting opportunity where you will develop clinical skills within the service and lead the CNS team.

    • Work autonomously delivering care to patients undergoing oncology treatment.
    • Undertake clinical assessments for acute, emergency, and elective oncology patients.
    • Lead, develop, implement, and evaluate the delivery of assessment services.
    • Provide leadership and support to nurses working in the service.
    • Enjoy a fast-paced challenging environment working within a team and on your own initiatives.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Education and Qualifications

    • Registered Nurse with Valid NMC registration or Health Care Professional with HCPC registration.
    • Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice.
    • Post Graduate qualification in Advanced Practice.
    • Advanced Physical Assessment module, Non-Medical Prescribing, and Advanced life support qualification.
    • Relevant continuous professional development.

    Experience

    • Experience in extended roles with autonomous practice.
    • Training delivery and education experience.
    • Service improvement and contribution to audit and research programs.

    Skills and Knowledge

    • In-depth knowledge of common conditions and their management.
    • Analyze patient information for diagnoses and management plans.
    • Excellent communication skills with all staff and patients.
    • Prioritize workload and support junior personnel.
    • Professional conduct in challenging situations.
