    Description

    Shift Maintenance Engineer (In-House) - Facilities Maintenance - Canary Wharf, London

    We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a successful shift team. As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of this premier building during your assigned shift. You will play a vital role in minimizing downtime and maximising M&E plant productivity throughout building based in the heart of Canary Wharf.

    kEY Responsibilities:

    • Working in a team of 4 x Shift Engineers
    • Premier Building in Canary Wharf
    • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance tasks to identify and resolve any equipment or system malfunctions.
    • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and reliability of machinery, systems, and equipment across Electrical, Mechanical and HVAC.
    • Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns or emergencies to minimize production interruptions.
    • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and other technical issues, utilizing appropriate tools and techniques.
    • Collaborate with other maintenance team members and departments to coordinate repair and maintenance activities.
    • Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and parts inventory.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance procedures and protocols.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

    Salary & Package:

    • £47,120.00 Per Annum + Overtime
    • 12 Hour Shift Pattern - Days Only - 7am till 7pm (DAYS Only)
    • Overtime Available at x1.5 / x2.0

    The Person:

    • City & Guilds in Electrical or Mechanical
    • Competent building maintenance knowledge
    • Demonstrate strong communication and people skills
    • Able to write report and carry out quotes.
    • Career driven, looking for the next step in the career ladder
    • Smart and presentable.
