The first company I helped was GitStart, where I was the solo designer and designed their logo, website, and dashboard from the ground up. GitStart ended up getting selected for Y-Combinator S19.

In my subsequent experiences, I developed a comprehensive user flow that reduced the time spent navigating through app features by 50% as well as led cross-functional design sprints and created a customized design system unique to the company's online presence, which improved brand consistency across all digital channels and increased company sales.

My goal is to become a project manager. As I move forward, I am actively seeking thrilling new opportunities that will enable me to continue my professional growth and contribute to innovative projects.

My educational background includes a Master's in Web Design & Content Planning from the University of Greenwich and a Bachelor's in Visual Communication Design from the National College of Arts, Lahore.

I recently earned my Master's degree in Web Design and Content Planning, a program that provided me with a comprehensive skill set in web design and digital content management. Throughout this program, I engaged in several significant modules.

The "Design for Web Content" module served as a strong foundation by covering the core elements of web design, including HTML, CSS, page layout, color theory, image optimization, typography, and fundamental graphic design principles. This module emphasized key concepts such as web standards, semantic markup, and the importance of responsive design.

In the "Content Management" module, the focus shifted towards site design and content management. Here, I gained insight into the Document Object Model (DOM) and its manipulation using JavaScript. Additionally, I explored essential concepts for larger websites, including site structure, information architecture, and the utilization of content management systems. This module introduced server-side technologies such as PHP and MySQL, enabling the creation of dynamic websites that draw content from databases.

The "Social Media and SEO" module delved into the philosophy, business aspects, and organization of publishing content on the internet. In "Applied Art for the Web," I had the opportunity to enhance my skills across various graphic and technical design domains. This module covered typography, bitmap and vector image manipulation, graphic design principles, layout design, and icon design. It also provided insights into WordPress theme design.

Finally, the "Major Project" allowed me to put my skills into practice. It involved researching, developing, and implementing a live website, serving as a practical showcase of the skills and concepts I acquired throughout the program. The project encompassed various stages, including project brief development, research, concept creation, cultural context consideration, design development, and planning, culminating in the implementation phase with guidance and feedback from both faculty and peers. This experience provided me with hands-on expertise in real-world web design projects.
