VANRATH are delighted to be partnering with a well-known automotive dealer in Mallusk to recruit an experienced Credit Controller to join their team

Key Responsibilities:

Dispatch overdue letters, reminders, copy invoices, and statements promptly
Contact debtors for payment via phone, email, and written requests
Handle outstanding accounts up to and including legal proceedings if necessary
Report monthly on aged debt and debtor days to the CEO
Process Direct Debit payments and follow up on returned DDs via the banking portal
Lead monthly debt meetings and collaborate with Senior Managers to manage and reduce aged debt
Resolve invoice queries and discrepancies
Issue monthly contract maintenance to customers
Allocate cash to customers as needed
Conduct credit checks and other adhoc finance tasks
Assist with accounts administration to support the Finance Department's efficient operation Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Credit Control role
Ability and confidence to lead credit control processes
Proficiency in IT, particularly in Excel and accounting software
Strong communication skills and ability to liaise confidently with various departments
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Strong work ethic, selfinitiative, and effective calendar management
