About This Role

We are on the lookout for a dynamic, creative, and strategic Buyer to join our Operations Team. As an internal buyer, you will be involved in our complete product development cycle, playing a crucial role in the creation and sourcing of innovative, sustainable, and commercially viable products that not only please our customers but also advance our brand objectives.

Products are at the core of our business, forming the basis of our unmatched reputation for crafting magical, eco-friendly, and innovative teas, tea products, and gifts. With our brand expanding rapidly in retail, e-commerce, and B2B, we offer a unique opportunity for a skilled Buyer to join us in launching exciting products into the market.

Enthusiastic and experienced in growing brands within FMCG and/or Food & Beverage, equipped with the necessary skills, connections, and knowledge to oversee product, packaging, and asset development.
Seeking the chance to join an expanding brand with a focus on product innovation and customer experience, while having the opportunity to shape your role, enhance our processes, and potentially lead a team in the future.

Accountable For

Having a deep understanding of the range and department performance, sales and profit drivers to meet department KPIs.
Analyzing historical and upcoming trends in collaboration with the Merchandiser to suggest product mix, pricing, and category structure.
Managing the New Product Development critical path and purchasing process to ensure successful launches.
Evaluating the commercial performance of product launches, integrating learnings into future product strategies.
Procuring all regular supply needs for the business and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.
Emphasizing Sustainable Procurement in all aspects of work throughout the supply chain.
Monitoring the market for consumer trends and competitor activities to inform product strategy.
Setting up all purchased products/assets in the internal systems.
Collaborating, negotiating, and engaging with key suppliers to ensure purchasing strategy alignment.
Managing logistics for overseas manufacturing and procurement processes efficiently.
