This position is to provide a range of reception duties on a full-time basis.

Description
The successful Receptionist will be responsible for the following:

  • Greeting clients and others in reception
  • Dealing with queries from clients in person or over the phone
  • Answering the telephone in a pleasant and professional manner and putting calls through to the appropriate person and taking messages
  • Ensuring front of house is tidy
  • Photocopying documents and providing ID for clients
  • Dealing with payments from clients and others, banking in accordance with current procedures and sending the paperwork to the Finance Team for processing.
  • Organising the booking of meeting rooms.
  • Sorting incoming post
  • Collating and preparing all outgoing post and in accordance with current procedures.
  • Keeping a record of petty cash.
  • Delivering any hand deliveries or courier deliveries.
  • Assisting with catering for meetings.
  • Archiving files when matters are completed.

Profile
The successful Receptionist will have the following skills/qualities

  • Good attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including, multitasking and timemanagement, organisation and communication.
  • Have an understanding of how to use Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Have strong time management
  • Be selfmotivated
  • Have previous reception or administrative experience
