    Working Pattern:

    Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our office sites.

    Lloyds Bank Market Intelligence is one of our signature propositions and it uses anonymised LBG transaction data to provide insights about the spending habits of UK consumers, to our largest corporate clients.

    As an Engineering Lead, you'll be leading feature teams, helping to develop the technical designs of our data led solutions and the plans to deliver them.

    You'll actively promote agile methodology and maintain an inclusive environment.

    Leading teams to develop and deliver data products for clients and colleagues, using a wide range of internal and external data sources.

    Driving forward the modernisation of our legacy data estate by building new data products on Google Cloud Platform.

    Working with other business and engineering teams to shape delivery and leverage strategic capabilities and being built by others.

    Developing self-serve solutions which maximise the value of data to downstream consumers.

    Mobilising teams to deliver new initiatives and projects, ensuring the right mix of roles and responsibilities are in place.

    Mentoring and developing engineers, providing clear and constructive feedback, whilst creating opportunities for learning and growth.
    Acting as an ambassador for the potential value of cloud hosted data solutions.

    Experienced Engineering Lead with a recent focus on developing data and analytics solutions.
    Tableau, Teradata, or SQL Server.

    Experience of front-end software engineering because our insights are published through our own digital portal (using React, typescript ).

    Technical know-how in data engineering techniques which cover both batch processing and /or streaming.
    Experience in the end-to-end delivery of data products using Agile methodologies and DevOps tooling.
