Leading Edge Aviation is a leading commercial pilot training school with exciting growth plans and a reputation for producing exceptional pilots.

We're a tight-knit community, bustling with students and a dedicated training and support team. We use cutting-edge technology and training techniques to create an environment tailored to cultivate success for our students.

This is a part time position, working 15 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 3:30pm to 6:30pm.

Role Duties

Driving Duties

Driving the Leading Edge Aviation minibus
Responsible for the health and safety, comfort and welfare of students and employees in their care
Carrying out daily and weekly vehicle checks and basic maintenance of the vehicle, reporting any defects, faults and incidents in line with relevant internal procedures, taking corrective measures when necessary
Ensuring the vehicle is in a clean, both inside and out, and roadworthy condition before and after use
Refuelling the vehicles as required
Maintaining accurate records of vehicle usage
Planning alternative road routes to and from the academy

Maintenance Duties

Supporting Open Days and events setup
General office maintenance
Supporting the operations team with basic airside responsibilities
Adhoc jobs as required
Liaising with external Facilities Management company for larger jobs as required
A full clean driving licence with D1 entitlement
Ability to undertake daily and weekly vehicle checks and carry out basic maintenance
Reliable and trustworthy, with a cando attitude
Pleasant, friendly and engaging, with an approachable personality
Ability to communicate with a range of people
Flexible approach to working arrangements
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
Well presented with high standards
Ability to work effectively under pressure
