We are currently seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as the Assistant Director of Event Operations.

As the Assistant Director, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of our company's events, ensuring their seamless operation and success.

Responsibilities:


  • Assist the Director of Event Operations in developing event strategies, objectives, and budgets.
  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of event planning, including venue selection, vendor management, and logistics.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure the smooth execution of events and deliver exceptional experiences for attendees.
  • Manage event timelines and deadlines, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  • Conduct thorough site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, sponsors, and other external partners.
  • Prepare and manage event budgets, tracking expenses and ensuring costeffective solutions.
  • Supervise event staff, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
  • Handle eventrelated inquiries and troubleshoot issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovations in event management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, business administration, or a related field.
  • Previous role as an Events Operations Manager needed
  • Proven experience in event planning and operations, preferably in a supervisory or leadership role.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational and problemsolving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Proficiency in event management software and other relevant tools.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and risk management practices.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends
