    Description
    We are delighted to invite applications for a part time Occupational Health Nurse Advisor post.

    A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to become part of our friendly Occupational Health team to provide both site-based and Trust wide OH services.

    ** 1 post 30 hours per week at QEQM Hospital, Margate


    The successful applicant will be required to have a broad clinical experience and be committed to a career in Occupational Health.

    In return for your commitment and dedication, we will offer you a comprehensive induction programme, access to training opportunities, within the specialism of Occupational Health and be part of a dynamic team.


    The SEQOHS accredited Occupational Health team is multidisciplinary and work hard to provide an excellent service to all employees in the Trust and other commercial and public sector clients.

    The key elements of this role are to deliver the full remit of occupational health, including participation in health surveillance programmes.

    Undertake assessments and provide health at work advice to management for potential staff following an offer of employment.


    Recommend best course of intervention, developing comprehensive client centred objectives and plans for clients referred to the occupational health department.

    To undertake health surveillance, immunisations, in line with current protocols and advise clients and managers of outcomes, referring/liaising with appropriate agencies where necessary (e.g.

    The Occupational health Nurse Advisor role is multifaceted. Provide an overview of the Occupational Health Nurses Advisor key role components and how does the role contribute to workplace health management?
    2 years' experience at Band 5/6 in an Occupational Health setting.
    ~ Expert clinical skills including, Health surveillance and competent immunisation and vaccination skills.

    Can you provide an example of Occupational Health Nurse assessment to demonstrate a report plan for the health needs of someone in employment and absent from work.


    Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of Occupational Health within the NHS/Healthcare setting
    Please describe one current issue relating to NHS work and its impact to staff health.
    Please state a workplace regulation regarding health at work

    Involvement in audit, research and understanding quality issues.
