    Teacher of English or Deputy Head of English
    £35,347 - £51,872 per year (Teacher M- U3 includes TLR allowance)
    Permanent
    Full time (32.Monday to Friday
    TEACHER OF ENGLISH or DEPUTY HEAD OF ENGLISH
    Required September 2024 to teach KS3/4 English Language and English Literature as well as English Language and/or English Literature to KS5
    Experience of teaching both subjects to KS4 is essential.
    Experience of teaching either subject at KS5 is highly desirable.
    A TLR 2b (currently £5,347) as Deputy Head of English may be available for the right candidate.

    The department also leads on whole-school reading as the key to success, across all subjects, and we ensure that students of all abilities are challenged.

    We are looking for a highly skilled, motivated and talented teacher who is eager to inspire and challenge: someone who can encourage a love of English and reading and has a passion for learning.

    Beverley High School serves the East Yorkshire market town of Beverley and its surrounding villages.
