Responsibilities will include:

Develop our production strategy to deliver on company objectives
Build a production leadership team to lead and manage all aspects of production
Outline team requirements along with the roles and responsibilities for production team
Identify opportunities to progress technologically, such that SSC production capability is at the forefront of bestinclass and multiplatform capable
Expand scope of ISO accreditations and QMS to include production, ensuring excellent levels of quality assurance and control
Work with other members of the SSC team to develop and implement digital toolsets suitable for manufacturing execution
Set standards for working procedures, incl. technical instructions, safe working practices and process data capture

Qualifications and Experience:

***Essential

Experience of working within a high value, low volume production environment
Experience of productionising new technologies and new products
Production experience with composite structures

Desirable

MBA or equivalent leadership experience
Degree qualified within engineering discipline or equivalent experience
Recognised Project Management experience and qualification
Use of agile toolsets

Working Conditions:

The role will primarily be based in the SubSea Craft office in Portsmouth, UK.

The position will involve work in an office as well as a manufacturing environment and occasionally at sea during trials, which may present physical challenges and require adherence to safety protocols.
