Key Responsibilities:
Build meaningful relationships with young people, fostering trust and open communication.
Plan, organise, and lead engaging workshops, group activities, and events that promote personal growth, teamwork, and skill development.
Provide one-on-one mentorship and support to young individuals facing challenges or seeking guidance.
Collaborate with community partners, schools, and local organizations to expand the reach and impact of our youth programs.
Create a safe and inclusive environment that respects diversity and encourages young people to express themselves.
Offer guidance on personal and academic goals, career pathways, and healthy life choices.
Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and program evaluations.
Qualifications:
A genuine passion for working with young people and a deep commitment to their well-being.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse youth backgrounds.
Relevant experience in youth work, education, coaching, life experience, social work or a related field.
Empathy, patience and a non-judgmental attitude in dealing with sensitive issues.
Organisational skills to plan and manage activities effectively.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as needed.
