Description
We are looking for a Pay and Benefits Partner to join our HR Payroll team in Royston. You will have a good level of education in a relevant field and some experience in processing payroll.

Do you have experience processing payroll for small to medium size organisations? Do you have strong communication and time management skills?


If so, this is a great opportunity for a Pay & Benefits Partner to join the HR Payroll team to perform standard payroll processing and time management tasks in a timely and accurate manner and with high quality.

You will also provide support and advice for all standard payroll and time management related queries.


This position is based on site in Royston, the site is 10 minutes' walk from the train station and is just off of the A505 so it is easily accessible.


What you will accomplish together with us

  • Managing Holiday absence and responding to any relevant enquiries
  • Dealing with daytoday payroll queries from employees, including Tax code queries, SSP, SMP, SPP etc, all of which are received via Workday.
  • Administration of the Payroll changes into HRX, such as bonus payments, absence data, benefits deductions and more, for our Payroll Bureau to complete the processes.
  • The UK Payroll team run 8 Monthly UK Payrolls, 2 Ireland Payrolls and 1 Weekly UK payroll, responsibility of checking payrolls with the team is required.
  • Assist with the administration of adding and removing employees to the benefit schemes such as Dental and Medical Insurance.
  • Creating and calculating SMP and SHPP Schedules.
  • Knowledgeable on UK PAYE legislation.
  • An understanding of company cars and submission of P46 documents.
  • Collaborating closely with the HR Service team for monthly payroll changes.
  • Responsible for all payroll processes when other teams members are on leave.
  • Understanding of manual Payroll TAX and NI Calculations.
