    Role and Responsibilities:

    The role involves actively engaging with our various contract clients to enhance the performance of our team of Service Engineers in the East Service Area at Ryan-Jayberg Ltd.

    You may also need to address issues in different areas of the business, but your primary duties include:

    • Supporting the Field Service Manager and Regional Manager in managing and supervising engineers in specific areas to build and maintain strong customer relationships.
    • Guiding, training, and mentoring engineers to work efficiently and ensure accurate invoicing.
    • Maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of commercial refrigeration equipment in the company's portfolio.
    • Demonstrating expertise in diagnosing and repairing faults swiftly and effectively, along with proficiency in testing, commissioning, and fault rectification.
    • Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and promptly reporting any concerns to the Line Manager.
    • Assisting in maintaining engineers' tools, equipment, and parts to a high standard and reporting any issues requiring attention.
    • Overseeing the time management, quality, and performance of the engineers under your supervision.

    Duties in Respect of the Standby Rota Arrangements:

    Operating a 24-hour standby roster involves collaborating with other regional supervisors to manage this schedule during the week and weekends, including working when necessary.

    Other Duties:

    Collaborating with the Field Service Manager and Regional Manager on early disciplinary matters, as well as recommending actions related to promotions, transfers, and staff motivation.

    Conducting regular inspections of company vehicles assigned to engineers and auditing the Van Stock maintained by each individual.
