We are currently representing a thriving secondary school in Southampton who are looking for
Maths Teacher.

The school is wanting to strengthen their existing team and to continue to build on their success in the new academic year.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and imaginative classroom practitioner to join a dynamic team, led by a Heads of Faculty.

Typical Job Duties:


  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Maths in such a way as to challenge and inspire students of all abilities
  • Planning, preparing and marking lessons
  • Develop, maintain and stimulate pupils' curiosity, interest and enjoyment in Mathematics
  • Enable all pupils to have equal access to Mathematics and to experience success in their work.
  • Develop pupils' familiarity, competence and confidence with appropriate Mathematical concepts, principles, methods and vocabulary
  • Provide challenge for every pupil and to encourage all pupils to achieve their potential in Mathematics.
  • Make a contribution to and engage in extracurricular Mathematics
  • Share in departmental best practice
  • Willingness to invest extra time to ensure students achieve the best standard
  • Willingness to help out with departmental responsibilities
