Management Accounting Team Lead


Our client is a highly profitable and ambitious service business that has grown phenomenally from scratch to c.£350m sales and 440 staff in approx.

15 years. Its finance department and people have grown and progressed with the company and the departmentis now c.20 people strong.

The company is now on the next stage of its truly amazing journey and we're now looking to help further strengthen the finance team, by recruiting a progressive, career-minded and commercially-focussed qualified accountant to a newlycreated Management Accounting Team Lead role with its Reporting team of four.

Reporting the Finance Director and Head of Financial Reporting you will lead a growing team of four with end-to-end responsibility for regular reporting relating to group companies, each with responsibilities including:

  • Preparing regular P&Ls, balance sheets, reports and analysis
  • Identifying opportunities for improved financial performance
  • Communicating and interpreting financial information to business managers
  • Supporting colleagues in your team and the wider department
  • Improving financial systems and process

You'll offer:

  • Strong Management Accountant experience, ideally in a Senior Management Accountant, Management Accounting Supervisor or Team Lead type role
  • CIMA, ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • A progressive, proactive, ambitious and flexible approach
  • Commercial focus
