Job Title:
Product Lead - Safety Systems and Telemetry Equipment Team
Salary:
Up to £65,000 plus bonus and benefits based on experience
Location:
Stevenage (Relocation package available for this position)
Dynamic (Hybrid) Working:
Blended approach to on-site and remote work depending on business needs (flexible)
Typically, 1 day per week on-site and 4 days remote work. Full-time or part-time position, 4 or 5 days per week. Term-time and compressed hours considered.
Security Clearance:
British Citizen or Dual UK National with British citizenship
Applicable nationality/work rights restrictions may apply. Successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks after offer stage.
The Opportunity:
This role provides the chance to join a highly skilled team influential in MBDA's safety systems and telemetry products.
The Product Lead is responsible for defining and delivering product strategies, influencing project decisions, and ensuring cost-effective products meeting future customer needs.
You'll Have the Opportunity to:
- Influence programs and future projects
- Collaborate with stakeholders UK and Internationally
- Identify future opportunities and challenge established processes
- Develop strong relationships with academia, SMEs, and suppliers
Delivery-focused team working on design, development, and qualification of safety critical products for missiles.
Known for modularity and re-use principles to reduce costs, schedules, and risks.
What We're Looking for:
- Experience in electronics design and development, ideally in defence
- Strategic thinker with influencing skills
- Demonstrated experience in defining product strategies and proposals
- Clear and concise engineering documentation skills
