Purchase Ledger Administrator

York North Yorkshire

£23000 plus AAT and ongoing professional study support

Permanent role Office based

Monday to Friday 37.5hrs per week between the hours of 7.30am - 5pm

(e.g. you could work 7.30am - 3.30pm or or 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm whichever suited you)

Hawk 3 Talent Solutions are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Administrator to join a large finance team in York.

The Role


This role would suit a strong administrator looking to get into Accounts Purchase Ledger or someone with Purchase Ledger experience that would like to develop their skills.

You will be managing several purchase ledgers

Duties

  • To maintain the purchase ledger
  • Paying of invoices
  • Clearing debit balances
  • Invoice processing
  • Setting up new supplier accounts
  • Statement reconciliations
  • Reconcile credit card accounts
  • Dealing with supplier enquiries
Skills/knowledge/experience

  • Strong Admin skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Previous accounts or bookkeeping experience would be an advantage
  • Organised
  • Team Player
