- A BSC degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent to meet the registration requirements of the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- To be responsible for the management and day-to day running of CT.
- To be responsible for the management of the specialist service ensuring optimum use of staffing and equipment resources within CT.
- Implementing protocols and keeping up to date with advancements in CT imaging.
- To be responsible for the professional leadership of the CT team providing a high quality patient focused service.
- High levels of technical knowledge and the ability to work quickly and accurately, with a great eye for detail.
- Multi-modality experience with the ability to maintain high diagnostic standards in all areas relating to your role, to include X-ray, theatre and CT. To succeed as a CT Lead Radiographer, you will need:
- Current Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration.
- Proven experience and understanding of UK legislation and governing bodies relating to Radiology.
- A postgraduate qualification or relevant clinical experience in CT desirable.
- Certificate in intravenous administration and cannulation is desirable.
