Hours:
Various contracts available from 27 hours to 37.5 hours


Location:
Strensall, YO32 5UA

Requirements for a Call Handler:


  • Fantastic Telephone Manner.
  • To be able to work as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Prioritise own workload, while at times under pressure, to make sure deadlines are met and tasks completed in a timely manner.
  • Have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities for a PST Call Handler _(but not limited to)_**:

  • Answering telephone calls: Responsible for providing the 'Best' Customer Service, every patient.
  • Ensure the call itself, is handled efficiently, accurately, and timely, whilst maintaining a warm, calm, and professional approach.
  • Undertake associated administrative duties necessary to ensure smooth management of the patient's medical record and support the medical staff in undertaking necessary actions.
  • Efficiently and accurately obtain information as required by the doctor from other organisations, such as local hospitals and conveying this information quickly, efficiently, and accurately.
