St Margaret's Hospice Care has a fantastic opportunity for a Bank Housekeeper to join our team. This role is based in Yeovil.

You will join us on a casual basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour plus a 14% unsocial hours rate.

What can you expect to be doing?

Joining our Housekeeping team in Yeovil on a bank basis, you will play a key role in our clinical service by providing and maintaining a high level of cleanliness which meets national standard.

Ensuring the smooth day to day running of the hospice, you will create a clean, safe and comfortable environment for all.

Diligent and conscientious, you will have a strong team work ethic and attention to detail.

This role requires you to have a level 2 in healthcare and support or be willing to attain a QCF level 2.

Responsibilities as our Housekeeper will include:

Following NHS cleaning standards and national colour coding to meet current audit standards are met and maintain cleaning schedule records
Cleaning all areas of the hospice, following cleaning schedules and keeping records up to date
Maintaining and effectively using cleaning equipment and supplies.
