Great news for this role is that you do not have to have teaching experience or qualifications, as long as industry experience in freight, and want to become a Tutor/Assessor, or you can be an experienced Tutor or Assessor for freight forwarding and logistics industry

Covering East of England such as Norwich, Chelmsford, Colchester, Ipswich, Luton, Cambridge, Bedford, will put you as close to home as possible, but role may involve travel to some other locations
£27,000 to £32,000 per annum
25 days annual leave + Bank Holidays + Birthday Day off (with the opportunity to buy an additional days)

Location:
Home based and then travel (expenses paid)
Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm, Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm


Key Responsibilities

  • Group delivery and one to one support with learners on the apprenticeship scheme for freight forwarding and logistics industry, so useful but not essential if worked in the past as a Warehouse or Transport Supervisor
  • Manage the induction and training of learners
  • This role is a varied role, assessing virtually online, some classroom delivery and then some one to one in the workplace (expenses paid for mileage and parking)
  • Coach, guide, and support learners in the effective achievement of their Vocational individual learning programme
  • Interpret initial assessments and diagnostics to assess learners' capability, suitability, and their engagement to ensure achievements are met
  • Dealing with retention and achievement targets
  • Negotiate, design, and implement individual learning plan with each learner
  • Monitor, review and evaluate and adjust individual learning plans
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to prepare and support employer led schemes of work and schemes assessment
  • Monitor and review programme activity and standards to ensure funding and awarding organisation guidelines are met and comprehensive records of participation and outcomes are kept

Salary:
£27,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
