Job summary
The Pre-Op Assessment Unit are recruiting for a Band 3 Senior Healthcare Support Worker to join our team on a permanent, full time basis to assist members of the multi-disciplinary team in the delivery of nursing care, and to participate in the general organisation and smooth running of the unit under the direction and supervision of the registered nurse.
You will be working in Surgical Admissions supporting the patients to prepare for theatre and admitting and liaising with anaesthetists prior to sign out and transit to theatre. Elsewhere, you will assist in pre-assessment taking bloods, observations and ECG`s.
Main duties of the job
