They are on the lookout for a strategic and dynamic CFO to join their top management team based in Central London, driving financial excellence.

    Role Overview:

    As the CFO, you will play a vital role in the leadership team, overseeing all financial aspects of the company. You will be instrumental in shaping the financial strategy, fueling sustainable growth, and ensuring the financial health of the organization. This position calls for a forward-thinking leader with a solid retail background, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to navigate intricate financial landscapes.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • To craft a corporate strategy and annual business plan for cost-effective attainment of company objectives
    • Engage with Investors and play a key role in fundraising initiatives
    • Efficiently manage the finance team and contribute to their development
    • Collaborate with the CEO & Board on strategic vision, including forecasting and nurturing stakeholder relationships
    • Identify and foster new business opportunities for the group
    • Implement and maintain adequate controls
    • Present the board with an operating budget ensuring practical success
    • Supervise and coordinate all fiscal activities, including reports and projections
    • Monitor the organization's banking activities
    • Oversee the production of financial statements and reports
    • Review and manage group tax position and filings

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualification would be advantageous
    • Extensive experience in leading and developing finance functions
    • Strong technical accounting skills are highly desirable
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Prior experience in managing and nurturing staff
    • Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines
    • Comfortable in fast-paced environments
    • Proficient in Excel
