    With a curated roster of Creative Directors, our talented advertising, design, creative technology, immersive and visual effects teams produce captivating content across multiple platforms for global clients.

    This includes creating visually striking content from crafting unforgettable theme park attractions, partnering with global brands through our advertising and Design teams, creating stunning VFX for episodic work, and executing pioneering captivating experiences.

    The Role

    As FX Artists, the job involves creating realistic simulations for particles, rigid bodies, fluids, cloth, fur, and hair using Houdini. We focus on applying lighting and shaders to enhance these effects, collaborating closely with Lighting Technical Directors to refine the final look. Our work requires constant coordination with other departments to ensure that every shot fits seamlessly into the broader project. We regularly discuss and strategize within our team to solve creative challenges, aiming to deliver effects that exceed expectations.

    Responsibilities:
  • Designing and creating images, elements, effects, pipelines, tools and techniques
  • Helping to design solutions involving a more procedural approach in order to create the effects required
  • Producing reviewable composites of all FX elements for a shot. Sometimes FX TDs will be expected to produce final renders too
  • An excellent knowledge of Houdini
  • Previous experience producing effects such as smoke, fire, clouds, water, steam and explosions in addition to simulation techniques for rigid-bodies, cloth and hair
  • A good understanding of animation and an eye for motion
    • Desirable Experience
  • A familiarity of working between multiple packages
  • Strong Vex, hscript, python and/or Mel scripting skills
  • Experience with other render packages and Nuke
