- Supports the Field based Sales Team daily to help and support their activities to win and retain business.
- Responsible for coordinating internal and external procedures, to assist in the Sales Cycle, Tender process, and tender award phase
- Pivotal key driver in the winning of tendered and RFP business
- Identify, evaluate, and support delivery of highly complex pathology laboratory solutions across core Blood Sciences and up to full pan-pathology repertoire comprising of both company and third-party solutions.
- Project manage all tender opportunities starting with the sales cycle, through tender and to post award handover providing more capacity to the sales team for value added sales business.
- Provide comprehensive training and support to Enterprise Team on Tender Process and TenderEyes
- Laboratory medicine experience from NHS, Private Laboratory or Commercial industry – highly desirable
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, ideally in a science based or economics/business studies related discipline but not essential
- Project management qualifications desirable
- Tenders/RFP/Bid writing/Sales Proposal experience desirable
- TenderEyes/SharePoint experience desirable
- Able to work in the office 4 days per week essential
- Own a car so you are able to attend clients visits (when not in the office) and occasionally be able to stay overnight for long distance journeys
- Effective communication and leadership skills
- Collaborative worker that enjoys completing projects to a high standard within strict deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills

My client is looking for a Tenders & 3rd party Specialist for their Maidenhead office. The role reports to the Manager of Enterprise Accounts and its purpose is to apply and use well-developed knowledge of contract, bid and proposal management and to gather commercial financial and technical information needed in the preparation of contracts and bids.
