Sales Manager - Logistics and Supply Chain services

To £40k base, plus 15% bonus (uncapped), plus Car, and Benefits

Field/ Remote/Office hybrid


Our client is an established and thriving business, a provider of specialist logistics and supply chain services, with a number of UK and European based operations.

They have built an impressive client base throughout the UK and Europe, and enjoy high levelsof long term repeat business.

Investing for further growth, they are seeking to strengthen their commercial activities and further grow their market footprint with the addition of an experienced Sales Manager / Business Development Manager.


The role is responsible for identifying, developing, and closing opportunities for new name business, targeting customers across a range of sectors; for instance manufacturers of foods and goods, importers, and wholesalers etc.

Lead generation will be viahighly targeted marketing and prospecting involving market research, networking, industry events and expos, and also referrals.

The approach is consultative and professional, selling to senior level decision makers within supply chain, operations, financedisciplines, understanding requirements and needs, presenting the services, capabilities and track record of the business, and negotiating and securing contracts.

Although with a new business focus, the role will also manage new accounts to ensure long termdevelopment and retention. The role benefits from sales and marketing support, also training, however a proactive approach will be essential for success. The role will involve regular travel throughout the UK.


You will thrive in a new business focused role, but also need to be comfortable managing and retaining business long term.

You will be highly organised, diligent, and capable of working with autonomy and self-managing and prioritising your time effectively.
