Description

  • Our client is a fast growing outsourced IT and managed service provider.
  • They are looking for an ambitious and driven client manager with hands on technical experience that can assist their client services director in managing their existing clients in terms of upgrades, renewals and new services.
Role

  • Account Management and Consultancy
  • Working with existing clients to manage the ongoing replacement and expansion of kit as well as selling new services into existing clients. To start with you will be assisting the client services director and in time youwill build up your own client portfolio.


  • Pre project coordination

  • Once the client agrees your proposed project, you will need to be involved in the pre project coordination with the lead engineer to ensure the projects are delivered to a high standard. This involves ordering the equipment, coordinatingstart dates, resources etc.
  • Manage a client Pipeline
  • Build and maintain a pipe line with existing customers for both server and PC refresh projects as well as cloud migrations, Phone System installations and selling additional services.


  • Quotes & Proposals

  • Following the guidance of the client services director you will prepare proposals and quotations outlining your recommendations and the benefits to the customer.

Initially:

First 3-6 months:
Assisting CS Director, CS Manager and Head of Purchasing with:

  • Preparing quotations for customers
  • Raising Sales orders
  • Understanding service portfolio (training will be provided)
  • Taking inbound calls from customers and logging requests

Within months:
Work with CS Director on selling the following services into existing client base:

  • SharePoint


  • Office 36

  • MS Teams as a Phone System
  • Cyber Security Services
  • Cloud Migration Projects
  • Server Hosting Services
  • Mimecast Services

12 Months onwards:
They will be assigned their own client accounts to manage which will include:

  • Regular client review calls
  • Upselling of services
  • Point of escalation for any client issues
  • Regular service meetings with Tech Director & Client Services Director
  • Management of services and project leads pipeline
Knowledge, Skills and Experience required

  • Charismatic you will have the natural ability to easily build report with the clients.
  • A client focused and driven work ethic what you put in is what you get out. So we're looking for someone who has no doubt that only focused consistent work will propel their career forward.
  • Ability to multitask with acute attention to detail and being driven to always complete tasks 100%
  • 23 year's technical experience Good technical understanding of IT networks and Cloud Computing.
  • Fast learner able to pick up systems and processes quickly and also able to adapt to rapidly a changing industry.
  • Profit focused and very good with numbers and calculations being able to maximise profit on deals is essential. So any prior experience with quoting and achieving margin is very beneficial.
  • Confident and reassuring manner being able to speak with authority. A good communicator as there will be plenty interaction with Clients.
