Our client is a global sports and entertainment firm, they are looking for a 1st Line IT Support Technician to join their Orpington team.
You will be one of the first points of contact for 1st and 2nd line issues, supporting over 1,000 people globally acrossa number of agencies and sites.
This role will be based in their Orpington office.Position Overview
This role provides an excellent opportunity to work in a demanding and vibrant IT environment. Our client is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and eager to learn and progress within the company.
Your technical responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Logging calls and other activity as required
- Logging and keeping track of hardware repairs and hardware assignments
- Assisting with office moves and a wide range of other projects
- Recognising and escalating problems to Tier 3 support
- Installing and operating system software, patches and upgrades
- Analysing troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software and networking issues
- Configuring optimising and monitoring operating system software and servers
- Liaise with suppliers to organise repairs
- Assisting with and supporting Events
- Active Directory/Windows 2012, Exchange Online and Office 36
- Meraki Systems Manager for Mobile Device Management
- Remote/Mobile access facilities: RDP, Outlook Web Access, VPN
- Office 36
- Dell Hardware
- Experience with mobile devices
