Tay Letting are excited to be hiring for an Accounts Assistant position, based in our Glasgow Office.

This role has become available due to company growth and is a great opportunity for someone looking to progress their career in a busy accounts department, focusing on client accounts.


  • Adding contractor and factoring invoices onto our CRM system.
  • Dealing with utility and council tax bills and liaising with issuer for amended bills as and when required.
  • Informing all clients of deductions from their account and dealing with any enquiries that may follow.
  • Reviewing tenant ledgers to ensure correct allocations have been made, and to ensure deposits are allocated and lodged in line with legislation.
  • Managing of multiple mailbox's to ensure prompt responses are given.
  • Chasing tenants for unpaid rent and managing on a case by case basis.
  • Posting of daily banking.
  • Database management.
  • Running monthly landlord statements.
  • General administration duties as required.

Person Specification:


  • Previous experience at Accounts Assistant Level
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Good understand of Microsoft Package (primarily excel)
