    Peer Support Role at Solent Mind

    • Salary: £24,021 to £26,001 per annum
    • Hours: 22.5 hours per week (spread over 3 days, including Tuesdays and Thursdays)
    • Location: Waterside, Hythe

    About the Role

    Are you someone who has firsthand experience dealing with mental health challenges? If so, then this might be the perfect role for you! Peer support staff at Solent Mind play a crucial role in inspiring hope and belief in others that recovery is achievable. Working closely with Wellbeing Assessors and Team Leads, you'll be providing essential support to patients within the Primary Care Network. Your contribution will make a significant impact on individuals' wellbeing within GP practices, as part of the wider mental health service.

    Peer support involves offering short-term assistance to those in need, assisting them in their recovery journey. By creating a safe and accepting environment, you'll help participants identify their strengths, triggers, and life goals. Your guidance will empower them to enhance their wellbeing using various skills and techniques.
