This is a business role, focusing on the maintenance of accurate, timely, and consistent data in response to business needs.

It is likely that this role will initially be based out of one of our regional locations, but we anticipate more flexible working arrangements in the future.

We work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to support both them and their supply chains.

We pride ourselves on conducting our business in an ethical and reliable manner. We are currently expanding our data team with several roles to support our growth.

Key Accountabilities

  • Part of team responsible for the accuracy and integrity of data and systems
  • Management of operational data requests in a structured, accurate and efficient manner and escalation of issues that arise.
  • Communicating updates on data requests to ensure best possible service to our business partners
  • Assessing and tracking the impact of changes or corrections in business systems on wider business processes and subsequent reporting
  • Identify data issues through data analysis/interrogation a data driven environment focusing on a product, supplier and customer data & ecommerce content.
  • Coordinating data requests across various business platforms to support business requirements
  • Frequent contact with internal and external teams.

Key Technical Skills and experience

  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical colleagues.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and investigate to recommend a resolution.
  • Professionalism and resilient under pressure.
  • Effective planner and able to manage and prioritise workload.
  • A willing and adaptable aptitude to provide support to the wider team when necessary, during busy periods or times of absence.
  • Understanding of complex systems and architecture.

  • Monday to Friday

  • Leicester: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
