    Are you an English ECT- or soon to be- searching for a welcoming and dynamic secondary school in which you can commence your first permanent role?

    ***Unique opportunity for a newly qualified ECT to undertake their induction in a 'Good' academy.


    Requirements:
    A degree in English or a related subject.
    Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
    Outstanding communication skills, coupled with a warm and friendly persona.
    A passion for the English language and a commitment to delivering outstanding teaching and learning experiences to all students.

    The ability to work effectively in collaboration with colleagues to plan and deliver engaging lessons and create exciting learning materials.

    Motivation to partake in continuing professional development and a drive to learn from colleagues.

    The Role:


    Planning and delivering innovative and engaging English lessons, in collaboration with colleagues, to aid KS3 and KS3 students in their journey towards the GCSE English examinations.

    Monitoring and assessing student progress as a means of adapting learning materials to suit each individual's learning needs and providing regular constructive feedback.

    Participating in the school's professional development programme, including regular training and coaching sessions
    Maintaining the positive, welcoming learning environment by engaging with the wider school community and adhering to the safeguarding policies.

    As an English ECT, you'll receive in-depth support and guidance as your progress through your induction period and will be working alongside a caring and talented team of colleagues.
