About the role:


The UCL Estate comprises of over 200 buildings valued at over £2 Billion, more than four million square feet of academic accommodation and approaching 4000 student bedrooms.

The scale, variety and complexity of the estate are unparalleled in the sector.


As a key member of the Professional Services Finance Business Partnering Team, in this job you'll provide a tailored business partnering service to the Estates Division.

You will work alongside Departmental Directors and Senior Stakeholders, colleagues within Finance and external Professional Consultants to ensure the successful delivery of the Estates strategy and financial goals.

You'll lead a team of four, overseeing the production and preparation of budgets, forecasts, and management accounting reports, and act as finance representative on key Estates projects to ensure sufficient financial governance and control.


About you:


To do this job you'll need to be a fully qualified accountant with experience of working in a Business Partnering role within a complex organisation.

You'll be skilled in preparing budgets, forecasts, regular management reporting and KPIs as well as overseeing month end processes, and delivering financial analysis and producing reports to non-finance staff.

You'll be able to demonstrate leadership ability, able to work collaboratively with team members and other teams and lead meetings with departmental heads/Directors.
