    Locum Consultant in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation - Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom - Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust

    Description

    Applications are invited for two 12 month Locum Consultant posts in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation at Addenbrookes Hospital, part of Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The postholder will be expected to contribute to the local and regional in-patient and out-patient Hepatology and Liver Transplant service at CUH. Expertise in HCC management is desirable for one of the posts.

    Main duties of the job

    You will be fully registered with the GMC or be eligible for entry onto the Register or be within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at the time of interview, with subspecialty Hepatology accreditation.

    The candidate must have the ability to offer expert clinical opinion on a range of problems and be able to take full and independent responsibility for the clinical care of hepatology and liver transplant patients.

    The applicant must have demonstrable skills in listening, reading, writing and speaking in English that enable effective communication about medical topics with patients and colleagues, as set out in the GMC's Good Medical Practice Non-UK applicants must possess the IELTS/OET exam before obtaining a GMC licence to practice.
