Grafton Banks Finance Recruitment are partnering a prestigious brand within the education sector recruit a Finance business Partner to join their growing team.

Working in the Commercial Finance Projects & Professional Services team, you will be a trustedfinance business partner helping shape business decisions by providing a high-quality service to senior stakeholders and their teams.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Play a key role in the organisation's growth plans by supplying the relevant areas with expert financial and management accounting services.
  • Understand the needs of budget holders and department heads and building effective working relationships.
  • Provide direction and robust challenge and advice.
  • Work with the teams to achieve greater commercial awareness.
  • Oversee the general financial management of the departments and budget holders, to ensure the maintenance of accurate financial records, including reconciliation and processing of journals where necessary.
  • Production of Overheads' timely monthly management reporting packs including commentary and analysis of performance, variances, and trends.
  • Provide regular and ad hoc insightful analysis for decision making including project governance with investment and project appraisals and product profitability performance reporting
  • Working closely in partnership with budget holders and their teams to carry out strategic reviews such as financial forecasting and annual budgeting, business cases and new opportunities.
