Description

To provide consultant level Urology on call duties (1 in 10) based at Broomfield Hospital.

This will include on site daytime cover and post take ward rounds based on a consultant of the week model.

To provide outpatient clinic service; this may include diagnostic procedures To perform independent elective and emergency operating including day case surgery To undertake andrology specialty clinics To participate as a core member in Urology local MDTs.

Cover for colleagues' annual leave and other authorised absences; Any responsibility which relates to a special interest; Professional supervision and management of junior medical staff including the observance of local employment and human resource policies and procedures; Responsibilities for carrying out teaching, examination and accreditation duties as required and contributing to undergraduate, postgraduate and continuing medical education activity, locally and nationally
